That comment ‘It more closely resembles a plot twist in an Alan Moore graphic novel than anything any of us expected to see in the real world’ is interesting. Personally I’d say Moore’s thoughtful writing has been desperately trying to prepare us for eventualities like the election of president Trump! I suppose it just goes to show that even the best authors have very little control over what readers choose to take from their work
